Morgan Stanley is an organization that offers financial services to clients throughout the world. On 6 October 2021, Morgan Stanley announced a planned program boost in London. The organization is going to expand its Multicultural Innovation Lab, which is meant to support companies owned and operated by women or ethnic minorities that want to develop technologies with goals toward sustainability and inclusion. The reason why Morgan Stanley wants to support women and ethnic minorities is that companies owned by people from these groups face systemic disadvantages and have a harder time accessing capital.

A study showcases that in the last 10 years in the United Kingdom, less than 3 percent of the venture capital investment funds were provided to businesswomen, and less than 2 percent went to ethnic minority owners. To work toward improvement in this area, Morgan Stanley has invested over $1 million in the lab program thus far.
